ALLIES (Digital Training Tools in Steel Structure Integrity) is expected to have a considerable impact on its target-groups, which include teachers from universities and professionals (graduates of mechanical, civil and industrial engineers), both during and after the end of the project. The project, also, targets two types of specializations, ITC and steel structure integrity, in order to boost digital education in engineering sciences.Expected Results
Research analysis on digital training methodologies in use and the needs felt by
the teachers/trainers to improve their knowledge, skills, and competencies on
digital tools in the field of steel structures.
Development of a general guide with a series of digital tools, describing its
main characteristics and possible uses in the field of blended learning,
especially in the field of teaching and learning of STEM disciplines with a
special focus on steel structures.
Development of an innovative curriculum, based on the learning outcomes approach,
for providing digital competences for working with digital tools in the field of
steel structures integrity.
Development of digital educational material and digital twin for training
The developed new teaching methodologies, competence units, and digital study
cases will be introduced in national and transnational levels, developing a
European harmonized methodology for implementation.
