ALLIES – Learning Activity: C1 EVENT

The C1 event marked an important milestone in the ongoing project, involving key stakeholders from various partner organizations, including BME, UCV, EWF, Seabery, IIS, and POLIBA. This event was centered around the theme of learning, training, and teaching activities and aimed to explore innovative methodologies and tools to enhance the project's educational aspects.

Hosted in Bari, Italy, the event spanned from June 28th to 30th, 2023, providing participants with a focused and collaborative environment to share knowledge, exchange ideas, and learn from each other's experiences.

The primary purpose of the C1 event was to empower trainers with new knowledge and insights that they could later impart to their respective audiences. Two pivotal presentations formed the core of the event. The first presentation revolved around the topic of virtual augmented reality (VAR) and its applications in education. This presentation delved into the potential of VAR to transform the learning experience by creating immersive and interactive environments. Trainers were exposed to the concept of VAR and its potential benefits for learners in various domains.

The second presentation centered on risk-based inspection (RBI). This session was designed to equip trainers with the necessary tools and understanding to teach others about implementing risk-based inspection methodologies in their fields. The aim was to enhance participants' skills in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks effectively. Additionally, the event also tackled the broader theme of integrating digital tools in teaching. This was discussed in the context of new methodologies for teaching. Attendees explored how digital tools can revolutionize the learning process and make education more engaging and effective. This included insights into creating digital learning materials and utilizing real-life case studies to bridge the gap between theoretical concepts and practical applications. Throughout the event, participants engaged in active discussions, workshops, and practical exercises. This allowed them to gain hands-on experience with the presented methodologies and tools, fostering a deeper understanding of their potential impact in various educational settings.

In summary, the C1 event held in Bari was a significant step towards enhancing the learning, training, and teaching aspects of the project. Through presentations on virtual augmented reality, risk-based inspection, and the integration of digital tools, the participating organizations aimed to equip trainers with the knowledge and skills needed to deliver impactful educational experiences. This event underlined the project's commitment to innovation and excellence in education, furthering its overall goals and objectives.
